Meeting Schedule


Meetings are held at 2:00 p.m. on the third Saturday of each month, except December and January, in the Huntington Meeting Room located on the first floor of the Main Branch of the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library unless noted otherwise.  The library is located at 325 North Michigan Street, Toledo, Ohio. Regular meeting are open to the public and consist of announcements and a program. Plan to arrive early and do some research in the Local History and Genealogy Department on the third floor of the library before the meeting.

Program: “Gerry’s Journey to Find Her Birth Father--a Case Study”

Speaker: Kelli Bergheimer. Kelli is a member of our chapter from Franklin County, Ohio. She is the facilitator for the Central Ohio DNA interest group as well as a nationally known speaker.

Program: ”Preserving Your Research Through Self-Publishing”

Speaker: Brian Fox. Brian is a member of our chapter from Pickerington, Ohio. He received the William H. and Benjamin Harrison award from the Ohio Genealogy Society in 2017 for the best book submitted for an Ohio related family history. Location: Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek, 2001 Perrysburg-Holland Road, Holland, OH.  Enter through Forest View entrance, turn left to the Chapel. Meeting is at 2:00 p.m.

Program: “United States Immigration Patterns and Policy”

Speaker: Janice Whitaker. Janice is a member of the board of the chapter and publicity chair. Last year Janice informed us about special census schedules.
